Hello everyone,
As there are tons of assignments, presentation and practicals during your college time. You have to pass the bar of exams, viva, practicals and the assignment submission day is always a nightmare. Along with all the assignments and practicals we also had to create own collection for a proper grand fashion show. A step before graduation.
In 2015 we also had a grand show at hotel Hayatt Regency event managed by House of Fashion where 25 designers were showcasing there designs in pair. I was paired with the Sajan Maharjan Dai, colleague from my batch.
My theme: Recycle fashion
My inspiration: Picasso
Fabric: silk and left over (side cuts) stitched together to make some patches
Silhouette: A-line
Accessories:
Recycling paper, old buttons and plastic(Bangel made out of plastic bottle, earrings made by paper and neck piece by buttons.)

Summary:
Redefining the strong power hidden behind the curve and the loving nature of women. As they are always colorful inside and very hardworking, my collection shows the hardship of women who makes life colorful of all the people around her.
And the creating a new pattern of fabric itself by the use of side cuts and leftovers that you can easily find in the garment industries or a simple tailor. This up cycling process is required for preservation of our environment. More demand of synthetic fabrics, increases the quantity of production, hence high range of waste materials thrown out from the factories ultimately deteriorates environment.
Thus, recycling and up cycling process is boon to our environmental preservation. So my collection is all about women and upcycling fashion.
