SKIRT-Black

Hello,

I wanna introduce you all with my circular black skirt one of my favorite. The flowy fabric, very comfortable to carry and the White V-shaved lines, i.e. applique works done in the skirt is the point of emphasis, is all about my skirt.
Honestly I have put on some weight, fat, on the lower part of my body thus this type of skirt makes my bottom look flatter.
The perfect place to pose is the terrace of my work place Sabah.

Local product and fabric has been getting more and more exposure in the commercial fashion scene in Nepal these days. Using natural fiber available in Nepal, promoting traditional technique and empowering women are the keys factor that Sabah is based on. I personally always feel proud whenever I be able to use any thing out of dhaka.
Here I am carrying a vibrant colored envelop clutch made of dhaka since it compliments a lot.

Here is the other option to flaunt in, I have tried just to go with black and white.

How to Wear Skirts Based on Body Type

Skirts can give women an attractive, feminine look if they are worn right which can be worn with anything to nearly any occasion. Even a sweatshirt can be worn with a skirt and a pair of flats. Many ladies feel that skirts can only be worn by slim women with an hourglass figure. The chart below discusses what skirts can be worn to compliment each figure.

Body Type

What to Wear

Bottom Heavy
Skirts actually flatter this figure more than pants do. Wear tapered skirts like the A-line and stay away from anything that is tight around the bottom.
Curvy Figure
Curvy figures can wear anything and are best complimented by tighter skirts that show off the body.
Flat Bottom
Flat bottomed women can wear tighter skirts to make their rear appear bigger. Skirts that are scrunched at the waistline also give the appearance of size. Avoid skirts like the A-line or fishtail that will make the bottom look flatter.
Larger Stomach
Ladies with larger stomachs can wear tapered skirts that do not have waistbands. Avoid anything that is tight around the waistline.
Non-Curvy
Those without curves can create them by selecting skirts that are shorter and fuller. Anything that adds volume to the bottom half of the body will help. Bubble skirts or anything that scrunches up at the waistline will be attractive.
Short Figure
Shorter women should not wear skirts that extend past the knees. Slimmer skirts and slightly tapered skirts will give the appearance of height.
Tall Figure
Taller women can wear calf length or knee length skirts to help break up long legs and make them look well proportioned.
Torso Heavy
Top heavy women should wear the same skirts as non-curvy women. They need to add volume to the lower half of the body to create a balanced look

just wanted to share the picture ..
Thank you so much for all your time.
Will  be back again.

Happy Vijaya Dashami.
May prosperity and sound health always knocks your door..

GOOD NIGHT!!!!!

Red Day Special

Hello Readers,

Today I wanna share my experience of 8th September 2017, the finale of the annual festival celebrated in IEC college of Art and Fashion i.e. "RED DAY 2017".
It really was my huge honor to be on the pannel of jury because 3years ago I was sharing the same platform as a contender. Thanks to Mrs Shailaja Adhikari, Mam, the principal and founder of the leading fashion college of Nepal.

There were about 200 students from IEC school Bagbazzar, Bhaktapur & IEC college  showcasing their designs & being model themselves. Their hard work, dedication and creativity immensely set the fire on the ramp.

One student had used the real chicken feathers with some coloring onto it on her gown, one had the fusion of latest technology and myth of god,- mythical Goddess, those stencil art on the fabric was so fine,  dress inspired from Gypsy art, African tribal prints were so colorful and the concept of recycling was portrayed so well. Those hand works, embroidery shows the hard work and dedication of students and glimpse of the Nepali Royal Prince was really awesome.

It was proud moment to see new comers doing so well on designing field. Thanks to an Institute like IEC, which redefines the way of success and make students successful. Honestly I got chance to learn much from them and I believe, learning process never ends.

I would like to congratulate all the title holders once again, though its has been almost a week.
And all the participants you guys already are a winner , no need to get disappointed at all, because there is much to do in up coming days.
During pre-judging at IEC college of Art and Fashion
And I met some very beautiful hearted people during pre-judgement and finale, Susma Thapa, Sudati Shrestha, Pooja Shrestha, Srijana Duwal and Mr Jibesh ... so humble, friendly and inspiring.
And Shailaja mam you are always the best I must say.

Jury panel of that day

Now talking about my look on that day, I do wanted to be on the theme, so I wore a maroon  spandex dress which I made recently,(don't go with the color of the dress, it was been clicked by my phone)

Actually I have gained some weight thus I tried to add some layers of pasting onto the fabric so that whole material will look thicker so that if you have any unwanted bulges will  not show, and gives a clear flat silhouette as you want. I have played with the hem giving a curvy scalp finish, this shows the curvy attitude of a women and a circular sleeve to make it more flowy added with the white lace so that the essence that dress gives doesn't look boring.

Thanks to DIna, my sis and Rukesh dai for the lovely pics

I have come up with the indoor shoot of the same dress.
Just wanted to share with you guys.

"The purity of a women with her soft curvy nature along with her confidence and bold attitude."
