Let's Recycle

Hello everyone,

I am here with something new,  a RECYCLE Product. As pollution is really a big issues. which is deteriorating our mother Earth. There are several factors causing environmental pollution.  Today I wanna discuss in one topic that is related to fashion.

Textile industry

It isahugeindustry, where fiber growing Farmers, weavers, merchandisers, designers to
consumers are interrelated. Every year the demand of textile is growing  as per as  the increment of population,on the same hand the craze of fashion is also  growing.
As  every coin has two parts, the growth of textile industry has its both negative and positive effect.

Impact of textile and clothing industries in environment.

  1. The pesticides that farmers use to protect textiles as they grow can harm wildlife, contaminate other products and get into the food we eat.
  2. The chemicals that are used to bleach and color textiles can damage the environment and peoples health.
  3. Old clothes that we throw away take up precious space in landfill sites, which is filling up rapidly.
  4. Most of the textile machinery cause noise, sound and air pollution.
  5. Over-usage of natural resources like plants, water, etc depletes or disturbs ecological balance.
  6. The working conditions in the textile and clothing industry are of sub- standard.
  7. Exploitation of animals often goes hand in hand with intensive farming practices that damage the environment as a whole.
Ways to reduce its effect in environment

Basically, there are a lot of textiles that are used every year and are deteriorating our environment.  Therefore, to reduce the adverse effect, we need to think about recycling and up-cycling, support and promote it. This ultimately helps in reduction of textiles as we can meet up our necessity on going this process.

Recycled fashion or up-cycling means that in a small way we reduce the amount of waste associated with this culture of fast fashion.
Most of the clothing disposed of each year is still very wearable, but it is thrown out simply because it is out of style, old or we are just tired of it . However, recycle fashion or up-cycling means we use the perfectly good textiles and rework them into up-to date style.
  • First way  is to use second hand clothes or fabrics, by redesigning and reworking onto it.
  • Second way to recycle fabric is to use some of extras from large factory production. it is a known fact there is  tons of factory leftover from production.

With the idea of recycling, I have made a bag out of my old denim pant, for spicing the look of my bag, I have stitched some stripes of black cotton and buttons. I don't have to get a new synthetic leather bag for keeping my belongings.  As it is said 1000s of drops turns into an ocean. unless you change, you will not be able to change people.
It has big space I can keep anything, from my sketch book to my laptop and all my belongings

I have got some pictures, to show how my recycle bag is perfect for my casual look. I was walking through Basantapur street,Kathmandu Durbar Square (the most happening place in K-town) for fabric sourcing, life of a designer any way.

Glam in Red

Hello,

After long gap because of my hectic days, I am back with something red hot. Red, favorite color of most of the girls and mine too, without this color either that be apparel or accessories the closet is incomplete.

Before starting lets have a look on this-

Philosophy behind RED
Red is a very auspicious color in Hinduism. From the red sari that the bride wears on her wedding day to the red bangles, red sindoor that married Hindu women put in the parting of hair red is everywhere.

The color red is a warm and positive color associated with our most physical needs and our will to survive. Red is energizing. It excites the emotions and motivates us to take action. It signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. It is also strong-willed and can give confidence to those who are shy or lacking in will power.
"Red is the first color of spring, its the real color of rebirth of beginning "

History seems to support this association between red and power: In medieval Europe, red was worn by kings, cardinals, and nobility. In classic Rome, the most powerful men were called the coccinati, meaning the "ones who wear red." And in the late 12th century, the Christian church adopted the color red as a symbol of authority and assumed the emblem of a red cross against a white background.

As the color red appears to be one feature that enhances perceptions of a woman’s attractiveness, so ladies why not to go red, yeah .. in the shades you like obviously

Lets not make it long....

Here I m with the combo of red and black, with minimal make-up & poping red lips, accessorized with black crystal neck-piece, and the pearl bangle that I made during the accessories making class, ummm.. may be 2 years back.

And the most interesting thing  that I am using today  is, the vintage  leather hand bag of my mom, which she bought 21 years back. I really love the color and the animal texture of the bag and it fits almost in all my attire. And the credit goes to my mom, who kept the bag as dazzling  as it was before.

This type of look is perfect  to go to the office, you also can attain meeting and seminars hence, the red outer manifest the semi formal look, and whenever you go out for dinner, parties ,date with your friends and many more.

"When in doubt wear RED- Bill Blass".
"GO RED IN THIS SEASON"

"In the world full of trend I want to remain classic with my curves and edges".
