10- boon for your closet

Meaning of fashion is the visible creativity of people, which can enhance the physical beauty or personality of someone.

Fashion is symbolism and all its attributes forms an outstanding base for cultural and personal identification.

Now a day's fashion is a tool for achieving harmony with the inner world and a way of revealing or concealing peculiarities. Fashion and identity still remains a twofold issue which has lot of positive aspects one can enjoy and share with other people.

As fashion is in everybody's nerves, one must have these few thing in her closet for a bang in daily life.

A Plain Tee

Whether you style that perfect T-shirt with a pair of jeans, a fancy skirt, or a slip dress, no closet is complete without one. Its all about going casual with style.

An Elegant Blazer
A great blazer is a true workhorse in any wardrobe. Very useful to pull your office look and very classy to style for a cocktail dress. A great outerwear substitute when it's not quite cold enough for a heavy coat? Again, a blazer get set go.....
A Striped Shirt
A classic stripe top looks just as good with slouchy denim as it does with a pencil skirt. Mix it with solids, floral, plaids, or any other striped . there is no piece which doesn't compliment with it . Here is the one I did something  with plain.

Black Trousers

Whether you wear them to work or wear them for  brunch, a solid pair of black pants that you feel great. Fully chic and damn comfy for daily purpose and no wonder for semi formal, very classy.

Denim
Fill your wardrobe with denim pants, may be faded jeans, grunge, plain dark colored, super fit or bell bottoms. All these have different style and can be worn in different occasions according to your mood. Don't think twice to buy a new one. Denim, a classic fashion..
And don't forget about denim jacket to pair with beautiful dress or denim pant itself..
A White Button-Down
Consider a white shirt your wardrobe's pinch hitter. There are endless options for how to wear it: Pair it with a simple skirt or pants for a classic look, or layer it under a sweater or dress to give an outfit some added dimension.

A Little Black Dress

One is never under or over dressed with little black dress.

The styling and accessorizing in black looks  completely stunning. Get one with beautiful silhouette which you feel comfortable in and of course of a good quality fabric then shine...
Basic Flats
They're equal parts chic and comfortable. Use them to dress up your jeans and button-down combination, then seamlessly transition that same pair to a cocktail dress for night. Your feet will smile and thank you for sure.
Slip-On Sneakers

Ladies make it on your top list. Its  comfortable enough to walk miles in, but way more sleek than traditional running shoes, these shoes give any outfit an extra dose of coolness. Perfect with jeans or any short bubbly dress.

Sleek Pumps

Pumps makes you classy and can be paired with beautiful dress, fitted jeans or skirt.   It will build confidence as your legs gonna look slender and hot. Ladies wear it no matter  day or night.

Character, intelligence, strength and style; that makes beauty...

Dressing tips for curvy women

"Beauty comes in all sizes."

Those days are gone when super skinny ladies were given predilection in the fashion industry. Curvy fashion is thankful to all those ladies out there who embraced their full-figure physique. From Kim Kardashian to Beyonce, checking out on these popular curvy celebs’ fashion and realizing one thing in common that makes them look gorgeous is CONFIDENCE.

If you know how to dress right, you can show off that curvy body without a sense of awkwardness or unease. Hence to play smart with that popping belly or chubby arms or larger bust is right here just for you.

Ditch the Over sized Outfits
You might think, that because you have a curvy body, you need to hide behind oversized outfits and that makes you look slimmer. However, wearing clothes that are too large for you just ends up making your body look shapeless and larger than it actually is. The idea is not to wear too tight clothes or too loose ones, but to wear ones that fit just right.

Never say no to a belt
If you wear a tight belt at your waist, even a shapeless outfit, gets some shape. Wider belts are better, as they cinch more of your waist and give you a good shape. Wear it..

Wear the Right Fabric

You need to choose fabrics that flatter your body shape and not cling to it. Cotton is always the preferred fabric over synthetic or polyester fabrics. If you are inclined towards wearing clingy material, make sure that you wear one size loose, to avoid too much clinginess.
Know Your Body Shape
You need to identify your body shape – whether it is apple or pear or diamond or inverted triangle for purchasing a perfect garment. You must show off the part of your body that is not too over sized. For example, if you have a heavy lower waist, a pleated peplum top can really flatter your shape.  Embrace what you have..
Change the Myths
There are a lot of myths about what a curvy woman should wear, what she should not. Horizontal stripes are not recommended or some believe that black makes you look slim. But if you have a striped outfit that you are dying to wear, pair it up with a structured blazer to break the pattern. The blazer also gives a fitted shape to your body. And you don’t need to stick to just black but solid colors in other bright shades have the same slimming effect.
Right Accessories
You can go for bold accessories to lend that extra touch of style to your outfit. Bracelets that grab attention or a large handbag can look really cool with the outfit you are wearing and make it complete.

Wear the Right Tights
A thigh-high dress and a knee-high stocking is a good combination to make your legs look longer and less thick. This styling trick is ideal for this season.

Find the Right Tailor
Tailoring can make a huge difference to the outfit you are wearing and good tailoring can really make an outfit look good on you. So, always look for well-tailored clothes to give your body the right shape.
Tailoring is a relatively inexpensive way to have a huge impact on the way that your clothes fit.
Show Some Skin
It is not taboo to wear crop tops or strapless dresses if you have a curvy body. Flaunting your cleavage might just take the attention away from a flabby tummy. V-necks and deep scoop necks also make your bust area look good. Wearing short dresses that end above the knee can also be one of the good dressing tips for curvy women that you can try out.

Invest in good undergarments.

Always make sure that you wear the proper undergarments. Everything Curvy and Chic. Nothing is worse than having the perfect outfit but not having the right foundation to pull it off. Choose wisely, take your time to see all side of fitting and obviously a good quality.

Wear What Makes You Feel Good
You might be getting a lot of dressing tips for curvy women from everywhere, but ultimately it is all about you and what makes you feel confident that you are looking good. So check out the mirror, find the right outfit that flatters your body, and walk out with confidence. By embracing your curves, you'll find that clothes are actually more flattering.

Bhaktapur

Namaste
Things  I am writing today is kinda different, as you guys know this is not a travel blog but couldn't stop myself  to write about the cultural richness of a place that I love to visit often .

Nepal is full of treasures cultural heritage, blessed with natural beauties, vegetation, wildlife and  .

We are blessed with such astonishing and unique sites that within the area of 140,800 sq km. We have  one of the highest concentration of the sites recognized by UNESCO as  World Heritage Sites. We have our own rich and unique culture which has evolved over the centuries. The geographical and ethnic diversity of the country has widely resulted in the rich diverse culture of the country. As the country was never colonized by any superpowers of the world, Nepal’s cultural uniqueness has been intact. Nepal has diverse ethnic, tribal and social groups manifesting their own unique music, dance, art, craft, folktales, festivals, languages and literature. Nepal has various sites to satisfy the desire of the one looking to explore the rich art and culture.

55- window palace
Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage site  located about 20 km east of the Kathmandu. Bhaktapur is also known as a “City of Devotees” and “ Nepal’s Cultural Gem”. Bhaktapur is filled with palaces and temples with elaborate carvings, gilded roofs, carved wooden columns and open courtyards. The Bhaktapur Durbar square is a conglomeration of pagoda and shikhar-style temples grouped around a fifty-five window palace. The city has numerous artistically crafted Hindu and Buddhist shrines.
This square reflects the lavishness of Newar cultural and how grounded Nepali people are. The pottery, the lifestyle, traditional attire of local people, the festivals proudly celebrated here, handicrafts and many more makes tourist visit time and again.
It really is a good place with all the positive and religious vibes and hangout with friends which makes us to forget the traffic, modern houses, dense population of Kathmandu where I actually belong. And Juju dhau, the king of curd, going Bhaktapur and not tasting curd how is that possible. The Newar food you get there is mouth watering.
I have got few pictures showing the heritage and me posing off course, how can I dissatisfy you guys. hahahahaha... Well I didn't want to miss the opportunity to capture  the beauty which will make my pictures beautiful, no doubt.

Ghagra choli

Selection of the clothes according to the occasion, time or mood reflects the taste of a person. Fashion does not necessarily means that one has to wear what is common to all.
With time fashion has become part of DNA of everyone. Every one poses their own style of perusing fashion they like. Either he is teen or adult, men or women everybody are into fashion.

Everyone likes to be special and unique where as in some situation being unique is as being lonely and far from the world, for this purpose there are different trends, and designers that make a person dress the way he likes and the way it fits his personality.
Moreover there is a story behind what people wear. It is not as simple as we can conclude from the first look; time is needed to adopt fashion. Thus taking time in choosing clothes and coming up with a style is an essential issue to take into consideration since it became a way of judging a one's personality and mood.
Personally, I am fond of complimentary colors and mixing brighter tones with dark. I have  paired  a boho uneven hem skirt and sleeveless blouse with a bright colored traditional Nepali hand loom Dhaka shawl. The overall set has the essence of Ghagra choli  which used to be very popular in old days in Nepal. And used to be worn by ladies during the special occasions. Design of the blouse and skirt is way different than that used to be, as time changes design changes too... hahaha. ..
My Ghagra choli was for the reception party as I wanted to stand out from the crowd, yes mission accomplished. All the ladies were in embroidered lehenga choli, kurtis, sari and western outfits but I was in .........  (happy day for me..)
I believe in minimalism so little makeup and no exaggerated accessories. And other secret behind this is I had just an hour to get ready after office business .

digital print

Namaste

The main motto I started  blogging  a year before is to share few details and info about  fashion, style, trend, industry and textiles relating to the look I am flaunting. Within this span my work has been appreciated a lot which keeps me motivating to bring out new.

Digital textile printing is described as any ink jet based method of printing colorants onto fabric. Most notably, digital textile printing is referred to when identifying either printing smaller designs onto garments (t-shirts, dresses, promotional wear; abbreviated as DTG, which stands for Direct to Garment) and printing larger designs onto large format rolls of textile.
Types of printing can be divided into:
  • Direct Print
  • Discharge Print
  • Resist Print
  • Pigment Print
  • Reactive Print
  • Acid print
  • disperse print
  • Specialty Print
Digital textile printing started in the late 1980s as a possible replacement for analog screen printing. With the development of a dye-sublimation printer in the early 1990s, it became possible to print with low energy sublimation inks and high energy disperse direct inks directly onto textile media, as opposed to print dye-sublimation inks on a transfer paper and, in a separate process using a heat press, transfer it to the fabric.

Process

Digital printing machine

The inks used in digital printing are formulated specifically for each type of fiber (cotton, silk, polyester, nylon, etc). During the printing process, the fabric is fed through the printer using rollers and ink is applied to the surface in the form of thousands of tiny droplets. The fabric is then finished using heat and/or steam to cure the ink (some inks also require washing and drying). Digitally printed fabric will wash and wear the same as any other fabric, although with some types of ink you may see some initial fading in the first wash.
Designs can be created digitally with almost any graphic design software (Photoshop and Illustrator are the most popular). Alternatively, existing artwork or photographs can be scanned and then digitally manipulated to make a pattern.

Traditional screen printed fabrics usually appear on the market about a year after they are designed. With digital printing, it’s possible to go from the design stage to finished fabric in a matter of weeks . This allows you to take advantage of current trends, and even change prints or colors mid-season. And is kinda cheap and durable.

I have got a beautiful digital printed silk fabric which I have draped into a saree matched with bright orange  top with lapel. The whole attire I made for the reception of my sister. I personally feel difficulty to handle saree but this is way more easier to drape as well as comfy to be in for hours.Frankly I danced like hell that day but the saree was as same as it was before. I really love the material it is great to feel and comfy to wear on.
The orange top I wore also can be paired with skirts or pants, casual.
